HEALING HOODS

Two nurses from the turn of the last century set out into modern-day Gothenburg.

They take their calling very seriously – to heal in their very own way – and seek out those in need of help. They encounter an IT office worker, a child, a weather-beaten sailor…

The sisters have their own methods and can, when needed, teleport themselves to mysterious realms where they draw upon their magical powers.

The nurses, Sister Stina and Sister Ulla, first appeared as performance characters during the annual event Konstepidemins Dagat the old hospital grounds near Linnéplatsen in Gothenburg. Now they return – in film version.

Dos enfermeras de principios del siglo pasado salen a recorrer el Gotemburgo actual.Toman su vocación muy en serio – sanar a su manera – y buscan a quienes necesitan ayuda. En el camino encuentran a un oficinista de informática, a un niño, a un marinero azotado por el viento… Las hermanas tienen sus propios métodos y, cuando es necesario, pueden teleportarse a territorios misteriosos de donde extraen su poder mágico.

Las enfermeras, Hermana Stina y Hermana Ulla, surgieron como personajes performáticos en el marco del evento anual Konstepidemins Dag, en el antiguo hospital junto a Linnéplatsen en Gotemburgo. Ahora regresan, en versión cinematográfica.
